Ebony has been able to walk an uncertain path in Organizational Development to have a successful career today. She currently serves as a Vice President of Development for a NJ based nonprofit organization. In her career she has served as a Corporate Sponsorship Manager, Development Officer, and an Executive Director. She has worked for organizations such as CitiGroup Smith & Barney, Susan G Komen NYC and The New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC). She has raised over 10 million dollars for organizations through Grant Proposals and an additional 2 million through her efforts in Major Gifts, Individual Gifts and Sponsorships. She is experienced in, Foundation, Corporate, Federal and State level grant applications. She is eager to share her tried and true tips and lessons with the students of teachable.
She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English from Kean University as well as a Master’s Degree in Strategic Communication from Seton Hall University. She is a member of the Delta Epsilon Sigma National Honor Society.
